While reading my morning devotion in Revelation 20-22 I realize that if we dont have a relationship or true/clear understanding of the Bible or who God is, I could see how God can be misrepresented while reading some of the verses in these two chapters. These few verses seems to reflect Him as an unloving, to be scared of, harsh, unforgiving God (when in the verses it describes how the devil and unsaved will be destroyed). However, because I believe God and know of him to be of love, have read All of His Word that was written for you and me, and have a relationship with Him, I am not scared but hopeful, excited, and comforted by the promises and facts of what is to come in Revelation. There is so much beauty and wonder that will be in the new heaven and we are blessed with this gift of eternal life if we only choose Him & say YES LORD, I LOVE YOU! A spiritual battle is on RIGHT NOW between good & evil for YOU AND ME...whose side will win your heart and spirit? For me, I choose GOD!
