While shooting Jasons Kinsers tacoma project i got to meet Kevin Kinser and check out his 1964 Impala 2 door Hardtop. This car was bought in 2000 where it had been sitting in a barn since 1979. Complete frame off restoration was completed by him in his 2 car garage. The only thing that was outsourced was the machine work to the engine and the upholstery. Before paint he had to replace both quarter panels, trunk pans, and floor pans. To accent the new paint, all new chrome and trim work was installed. It is a 327/4 speed car that was all rebuilt original besides a small cam. Besides the wheels, and cam, the car is and all stock restoration. It took Kevin 7 years to build the car and since completed in 2007, he has put 500 miles on it.
