While sitting in my bunker, in my command center watching the news feed from NBC, I actually heard, Chuck Todd say that government officials who agree with a skeptical public that fear the spread of EBOLA, as fearful rhetoric, or irresponsible comments, or just plain wrong. This my friends shows the true contempt and arrogance of politicians, newsreaders, pundits and the so called leadership of our country. Everyone wants reassurance that someone is on top of this problem but what we have are Doctors who are doing CYA, government officials who should know better telling us not to worry and our leaders choosing PR flacks to handle our response to this crisis. Sidebar how come every little or large problem that occurs is called a crisis but a virus that kills approx 80% of its victims by melting their organs from the inside out is not called a crisis. This is not a Red or Blue issue, it is a real, worldwide issue. That deserves a grown up response, not a bunch of excuses and dont worry let us do it Attitudes. Sick of this kind of obfuscation and evasive answers, just do something right for once, it matters this time.
