While sitting in the lounge at Tom Wood VW today having some work done on my Passat I met Ray Glasioner. Ray also drives a Passat and was having the same recall work performed. Ray was arriving as I was checking out, he did not realize how long it was going to take to perform the work and instead of calling his wife to come pick him up from their home 15 miles away I offered to give him a ride. We formally met by shaking hands and during our time together I had the pleasure to learn many great things about this accomplished man. Ray served in the United States Air Force & during this time engineered an airport style crash truck as a volunteer firefighter. Ray is retired from Boeing Aviation & is happily married to his wife whom I was invited in to meet. He has a hobby love for continuing education & public speaking. It was great to meet Ray and his wife today I look forward to a meal with these two people in the future! Its just all part of giving back folks, love your neighbor. #givebackgame
