While the Tatas and the Birlas and lately Ambani have been touted as the faces of the Indian business enterprise, the stories of Narayanamurthy, Azim Premji and the like are also part of Indian business folklore these days. But the stories of others who dreamt big and lived their dreams, several people from Andhra Pradesh (I do not know whether to call the place Telangana or Seemandhra) like Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao (the youngest of the lot) , Pratap C Reddy, K.Anji Reddy, G V K Reddy and such other Telugus have made tremendous contribution to Indian industry. G D Naidu, much before them, was instrumental in transforming the industrial landscape of Coimbatore and indeed Tamil Nadu. Their stories need to be told.
