While the day has its tough moments, esp. Catching myself wanting to call mom for advice. Breanna spent the majority of life with grandma while we worked or just to spend the night. Breanna continues to express and remind us how much grandma loved us, but you can tell in her deep conversations that her little brain just would not settle on what we told her about death and what it meant. I know her mind was working hard trying to figure it all out. Rick and I had to make a tough decision about allowing breanna to see grandma for one last time. We prepared her for what she would see, and so she could say goodbye. I and a dear friend took to her visit, I held her and allowed her to look at her grandma (we did not want that to be her last memory but am thankful we did) As brea and I were heading home she was so relaxed and said so grandma has 2 bodies....one that we put In agrave and the other one is with God. She also told me that God put grandma to sleep and when he is ready for us he will put us to sleep. I pray she continue to grow in her faith and relationship with God.
