While the southern areas of Victoria have experienced a nice cool break from the heatwave we have all experienced, the northern half of Victoria havent been as lucky! We are currently into our second week of high temperatures. Mildura has had temperatures in the high 30s since last Thursday the 11.1.2014. This week the temperatures rose to high 40s and next week should be in the high 30s all week. Yarrawonga has been basically the same with high 30s since Friday the 12.1.2014. This week we have sweltered through high 40s and next week will be in the high 30s again. Its been the same in Albury- Wodonga, Wangaratta, and other towns up in the Northern area. If you live up in the northern areas of Victoria, let us know what your temperatures have been! Stay cool and hydrated in this heatwave. For those of you that are caught up in the areas where there are fires, listen to the alerts and comply with them. Stay safe everyone -Jess-
