While today is about remembering those who died to defend our freedom, I would also like to remember those who have returned from recent wars without limbs and suffering from post traumatic stress and who now cant find jobs, or have found themselves homeless. So when I see all these politicians with their faces so perfectly set for their close ups on camera and wearing their poppies, I will feel deep disgust and disappointment at these politicians who have recently sent our soldiers to war and then conveniently forgot about them as soon as they were no longer fit for duty. To those who died, I thank you for allowing me to live a free life in my country, to those who have returned, I thank you for your ultimate service. To those politicians - wipe that smug look off your face and be ashamed of yourselves.
