While today is voting day, and I hope you all vote for Red candidates, just vote regardless of which party you support, I enjoy the lighter side of politics. While I am a politically born again GOP card carrying member after a lifetime of being a donkey until Bill Clinton came along and although I was a Liberal at the time, I didnt trust and couldnt stand the man, led me to switch, Now I consider myself a right winged conservative. Change can happen but I also had fun along the way and even as a candidate for office myself in Vermont when I ran for mayor of Burlington with current US Senator Bernie Sanders as my campaign manager which opened doors for him, I had fun with political satire and one of my favorites was Pat Paulson who ran for president as the head of the STAG party in 1968, Straight Talking American Government, and for those of you who never experienced Pat or ALF for president in 1988 here is a sampling of some of the fun.
