While visiting with dear friends the last few days, they have shared difficult news and prayer requests. Children should not have to go through difficult things in their childhood, but we all know those who sadly have to. The past week I have seen a two year old with a possible diagnosis of Duchenne MD, a six year old diagnosed with AML leukemia, two premie babies, one with a return of cancer, and the loss of a beautiful two year old to Tay Sachs. I am sure there are others I have missed. My heart is lifting these families up as they face a journey that is difficult and may need lots of support in the future. As we have watched Jennings the last few weeks go through a miracle, we all should be constantly aware of the power of prayer. We sit around wanting to do something to help, but we have the ability to help by the power of prayer. Join me by lifting all of these families up tonight. Hugs and God bless.
