While walking into the Credit Union a couple in their late 70s early 80s are slowly walking out. I notice the gentleman has on a Hat that says retired military so I extend my hand and say Thank You for your Service to our Country, he stands as tall as he can and says thank you, I then hugged his wife and said THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE as well. She had tears coming down her eyes and said she had never been acknowledged before. I told her that wasnt right because military spouses make just as many sacrifices. She hugged me again and we parted ways. I know my mom Barbara Cruse deserves to be told thank you for her service to our country just like my dad Billy Cruse...thank you both for your service to our country :)
