While walking my dogs this morning I saw a little kid about six or seven waiting for the bus in the doorway of a basement apartment. As tje bus pulled up he lit up and yelled to his mother, The bus is here. He went inside briefly and I heard his mother yell, Ima beat your f@#$in ass for not brushing your f@#&in teeth! He came out looking deflated. It was hard to look at the poor little guy. What will be harder is feeling the same love and compassion for her as I felt for him but I believe she really needs it.
