While walking our dogs this afternoon, noticed a teenage boy throwing sticks/pine cones in his backyard, along with a couple other shirtless kids. (NOTE: At Byrer Ave. & Craig St.) Then I realized he was throwing them AT his dog, a white/tan boxer mix, who was running about barking. I couldnt believe it. I said, Um hey, are you THROWING sticks at your dog?! Surprised, he looked up, Uh, theyre just pinecones, doesnt hurt him. Really.. Translation: How about I pelt your obviously underdeveloped manparts with those pinecones ... I am sure that wont hurt either. Oh, & this is Baxter. Feel free to help keep an eye on this kid, for the poor dogs sake. I am hoping to get over my shock & anger soon, & will approach the situation in a more teaching manner next time ... maybe giving the kid some tricks to practice with the dog instead.
