While washing dishes earlier a glass broke slicing the back of my hand in a v-shape just below my little finger. Boy did the blood gosh out. Our resident nursing student put peroxide on the wound - surveyed the cut - proclaiming it not in need of stitches. She put antibiotic, gauze, and bandages on it - then wrapped it tightly as it was still wanting to bleed when pressure was taken off. Well I just went out to take care of the dried dishes and barely touched the wrap - blood came gushing down my arm! Needless to say my nurse doctored me back up!! I do need to mention Michelle seemed to take great pleasure when applying the peroxide - the sneer on her face gave her away - the confirming moment came as she was taking care of things she remarked - I think Ill work in the ER - this is fun! She may want to work on her bed side manners!!!! I hope it doesnt start bleeding as I sleep - personally I think I have had enough of a blood loss!
