While watching the Holiday Lights Parade in downtown Fargo the other night Jose and I grabbed some fast food dinner. The cashier said she had never seen a parade before and was beyond thrilled! She told the customers she needed to run outside to see if she could get candy. Her co-worker told us Maybe she actually needs the candy - this is her second job. As it was a cold night and she didnt have a coat she ran right back inside, candy-less. At this point the police and other emergency personnel were driving through the parade wowing the kids with their sirens. She announced to everyone that it wasnt the cold that prevented her from enjoying the parade - but she couldnt handle the sirens - I feel like theyre coming for me! I dont want to go back to jail! Needless to say she was more entertaining than the parade.
