“While we all embrace and enjoy the Langley Events Center (LEC), if the Langley Facilities Society should ask for an annual taxpayer subsidy of $11,000,000.00 to operate the LEC, would you vote for it?” Think about this people! per TOL resident this is about the same tax increase as the school strike might have cost...I would have paid for our schools but not for a (...very nice but...) facility that maybe 5% of Langley uses more than once a year! What a joke; Glad Coleman has a subsidized office that Jack-Ass. Read the article, how much the DOO-council and Puppet-mayor wasted on building this, the millions they ADDED to it without asking you! and now due to mismanagement and poor planning - $11,000,000 a year they need to keep it running? BAHHH Sell it and VOTE THESE IDIOTS OUT.
