While we celebrate all of the saints officially declared by the Church today, tomorrow we pause to remember and pray for all those who have died. In the Hispanic cultures, they celebrate Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). Similar to the Christian tradition of praying for the dead, the Mayans had other methods of maintaining the connection with the communion of saints. This video shows how both traditions have been combined in Guatemala.
