While we continue to stand for the religious liberty of our men and women in uniform, it is clear that the Obama administration has a fundamentally different view of what religious freedom means. And our military has increasingly followed their lead. In the context of a government slowdown, Defense Department officials now cannot, or will not, even say whether they would prevent a priest from giving last rites to a dying serviceman.
