While we may be dismissive of Laws and governments, there are some rules we accept. Which side of the road to drive on being a case in point. Measurements and Mathematics are essential to our wellbeing, we accept the double entry system of accounting, and the result of the calculator and we live by them. Now imagine if you began to notice that some government agencies, some shops and some financial institutions were not abiding by these rules, apply it to me as a farmer. Department of agriculture paying me money (refunds) (diseased animal compensations, grants etc), they don’t acknowledge the No 7. If 7 is in the figure its counted as 6. My bank, when I stick my card in the hole in the wall and go for 40 euros, it pays 38.3. The petrol pump is calibrated to measure a litre @ .923 ml. When I ask for tea at Centra, they give me coffee. If a pot of jam is marked 3.29, they charge me 3.69 at the counter. It’s the same with the wind farm scam. The proper traditional way to measure and count the product is ignored and there is nothing you can do. When all complaining is done, you are left with 2 options. Put up with it or head to court. In court there is no bluff, only relevant matters can be advanced, witnessed are subject to cross examination. The Judge may be biased, but he must explain it and you can appeal. It’s the only way to stop this even if it is a slow process.
