Whilst I love and adore Concorde, I believe there are some points going unnoticed by Concorde aficionados. Concorde was discontinued due to its poor fuel efficiency and high operational costs. Many nations did not allow Concorde to use national airspace because of which alternative and longer routes had to be taken thus making an already expensive trip even more expensive. Moreover, bringing the Concorde back would doom European and American carriers as increasing fuel costs being added to a technologically inefficient aircraft only adds up to the liability, the only ones who would benefit from Concorde are Middle Eastern carriers being backed by their oil-rich homes and easy cash flow. Gulf carriers are already threatening every other carrier in the industry. Before we try to bring Concorde back in operation we must first master the technology, any donations received should go into research and development followed by a proposal stating Concordes viability. I find it to be an absolute honour to be part of this group working towards a common goal.
