Whilst I was watching football, some unidentified youth were busily burning & destroying properties infront of Marwarko Restaurant at Maamobi, my hood. Sad & unfortunate. Although they spared my car for reasons only Allah could tell me later on, unfortunately my uncle who also parked his car there had all the mirrors and the windscreen broken into. The entire Marwarko Restaurant was emptied. A very sad news indeed. The cause of this was that a police man shot a taxi driver (I cant confirm whether the taxi driver is still alive). And our boys wanted to lynch the cop so some guys at the Marwarko Restaurant was trying to rescue the cop. They succeeded in protecting the cop but failed to protect their valuable properties. A very sad development. More details tomorrow insha Allah as we try to ascertain the true nature of the damaged caused.
