Whilst not strictly speaking scuba, this may appeal to many members in the club (particularly the freedivers). If anyone happens to be passing through Port Lincoln and happens to have half a day free, i recommend booking into the Swim With The Tuna experience. Its probably better to book a few days in advance to make sure you get in but we did it recently and booked in only the day before and got in without a problem. Its reasonably priced for the whole 3 hour experience. I cant guarantee they will let everyone freedive as normally they prefer no fin usage with large groups but given we only had a few people in our one the friendly staff permitted me to use mine and properly freedive the site in order to get the full 3 dimensional experience, but you can enjoy it just by snorkelling anyway. There are two enclosures (one smaller one inside the other) and apart from the large Blue Fin Tuna, there are numerous other curious fish in the smaller one (the Port Jackson Sharks in particular are quite friendly). There are links to their website and their promotional video in the description of my video. Select HQ for better viewing quality.
