Whilst takin ma guidly wifeingtun tae the Crocs shoap in Glasgow theday a gentlemen wi ees friend exclaimed loudly I AM WALLACE! as they passed by. Ahv received a fair bit o this kinday patter oer ma last couple ay visits tae Glasgow recently an it lead me tae hink several hings... 1: Was he really a Wallace an just decidit tae inform Sauchiehall Street o this randomly?... (of which each their ain, knock yersel oot). 2: Did he think ma appearance remindit him o the Hollywood film Braveheart an he thought tae share this publicly wi Sauchiehall Street fur reasons known only tae hisel?... (an education would be needit if this wis the case, mainly as even though Braveheart is an enjoyable flick it wis a very fictionalized account of William Wallace). 3: Would he have shoutit oanythin if he had been by hisel?... (if so bravery is a commendable trait, stupidity isnae). 4: Wis he just a pie?... (if so, Bless him). This lead me tae conclude three hings - 1: Schools could dae wi educatin aboot oor heritage mair. 2: Most times if yev no goat sumthin positive an upliftin tae say, dinnae say anythin yer no helpin. & 3 : A wise man knows when tae open ees gub an when no tae. If ye see a man in a kilt folks its ok tae stare, if ye must, but please engage yer brain afore ye engage yer mooth. Bless yees.
