White South Africans are an industrious, clever people. We took bush land and made it into an almost first world country. We lived through wars with the tribal Blacks, two Boer Wars and two World wars and built the country up from nothing. Despite all the sanctions and anti-South African sentiment we still produced many firsts in the world. We relied on ourselves to better ourselves and our country. During the Apartheid years Blacks in the rest of the continent were trying desperately to get into South Africa. Not out. They knew the Blacks in South African had it good compared to where they lived. But, at the end of the day, the ANC didnt want us. We were told to leave if we didnt like how the ANC was running the country. They knew better. So we did leave. In the hundreds of thousands, if not the millions. Who knows the true figure as the ANC refuses to keep the statistics of why people are leaving the country. The ANC are too embarrassed to let the world know how many are fleeing from their Utopia. Its also why they refuse to release the true crime figures..... The White people of South Africa arent raised on a diet of welfare or handouts. No, we are used to looking after ourselves. We want to be productive, law-abiding citizens - wherever we live. Its in our DNA. We are doers - not takers. Thats why we are embraced wherever we go. No matter where we settle we become part of the community, part of the work-force, part of the country. We are grateful to be given another start in life. Our reputations exceed us. And the ANC didnt want to respect us or our achievements. So, suck on that ANC.
