White-Wilson Medical Center (WWMC) and the Emerald Coast Surgery Center (ECSC) are closed today, April 30, 2014, due to severe weather and flooding in the area. This includes all WWMC locations in Fort Walton Beach, Bluewater Bay, Destin and Navarre. The safety of our patients and staff are of utmost priority at White-Wilson, said White-Wilson Medical Center CEO, Alan Gieseman. Our clinics will reopen as soon as it is safe to travel. The clinics plan to reopen on Thursday, May 1. In case of an emergency, patients should go to the Emergency Room or call 911.
