WhiteRaverRafting Family, Its with a heavy heart that we tell you that tragedy has struck one of our own. While preparing for a 545-mile biking marathon to raise funds to help battle AIDS, Katie Conner - one of our editors - was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Katies injuries were severe, she has suffered serious head trauma and is currently being taken care of at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center. As of now she still remains in a medically induced coma. Katie is a valued member of our family and a huge part of the electronic dance music community. Yes, Katie will have a long road ahead of her, but with the support of her loved ones, the WhiteRaverRafting team and the EDM community were certain that shell make a full recovery. Her medical expenses will exceed health insurance and family resources and any contribution to her giveforward campaign will be greatly cherished.
