Whitney had her first check up back at Hershey this week! There was quite a few flashbacks as we pulled into that Hershey entrance...what a flood of emotions!! ...but she was a trooper at her appointment...she won them over with her gorgeous smile and her coos but she soon left them know they were poking and prodding at her ENOUGH!!!...so much the doc had left and came back and said he heard her down the hall!!! ...the docs said that the great thing with Whitney is...from what she has been thru they see nothing at this point that is/will be permanent damage... But shes not out of the woods yet and they want to keep a very close eye on her and her overall development! They chart all of her growth...head circumference, weight, height and I had to chuckle when they had concern that her height was in the low percentile...they kind of looked at me...and yes, I told them her mom never reached 5!! So yes they are extra critical of little things she does/doesnt do...but she has been showing everyone what an amazing God of miracles we serve!!!! We go to see her neurologist on September 25...pray that we can get good results from that as well!! -thanks!! ~praying for Whitney
