Who Art Thou O Great Mountain? “Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.”- Zechariah 4:7 Biblically a mountain can be defined as any difficult situation that has persisted and defiled solutions. Mountains are situations that appear insurmountable. It is that situation that has conquered your power, intellect and every resource at your disposal. They have made many a Christian to give up in life and abandon their faith. Mountains are seemingly hopeless situations. Many people dream and see themselves climbing a mountain only for them to slip and fall when they are almost at the peak. I pray for you: every mountain standing before and against you shall be made a plain today in Jesus name. This same mountain stood before Zerubbabel but was eventually made a plain. The same power that levelled that mountain before Zerubbabel shall do wonders in your life today. It is not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. You may have been praying for a very long time with regards to that problem with no result forthcoming, today the Holy Spirit will envelop you with the power-packed presence of God and you shall command every problem in your life to fade away. No mountain has the power to withstand the awesome presence of God. Consider Isaiah 64:1-3 “Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence. As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence. When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.” Some years ago while I was at our Kano branch for a program, I prayed for a woman who had a rather strange problem; her womb had shifted from its normal position. Even when she walked she would feel her womb moving within her and she would stop to shift it into position. She had had that problem for 12 years, until the day she came to see me and through the help of the Holy Sprit I prayed for her briefly. According to her testimony, as she was taking her bath the next morning she felt as if something dropped from her body and felt her womb walking back like a human into its normal position. As if that wasn’t enough, God favoured her financially and expanded her business. That mountain standing on your way to success shall be made a plain today in Jesus name! Now let us look at those who will speak and mountains will listen: 1. Those who have Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour. 2. Those who are poor in the spirit. Now being poor in the spirit is not the same as wallowing in poverty. It simply means those who render selfless service to God. They have no iota of pride in them; in fact these ones are humble to the core. Know this: when you empty yourself of ‘Self’ the Holy Spirit will fill you. Galatians 5:16-17 Prayer points 1. Lord I thank You for the power in Your word. 2. Every great mountain standing before my way to success, become a plain now in Jesus name. 3. Whoever that wants me to die before my day of glory, you shall not prosper; die for my sake in Jesus name. 4. My day of glory what are you waiting for? Manifest by fire in Jesus name.
