Who Is Behind The Oil War, And How Low Will The Price Of Crude Go - TopicsExpress

Who Is Behind The Oil War, And How Low Will The Price Of Crude Go In 2015? My 2 cents worth. For the last 100 years the worlds economy has been led by the west. The bottom line has been to sell less for more and increase profits coupled with inflation and rising prices. We are currently going through a shift where the worlds economy will be led by the east. With a population of 4.5 billion the bottom line is and will be, more for less. Asian thinking is to rather sell large quantities of an item with a smaller profit margin than smaller quantities at a higher profit margin. Quality is not an issue. As many people who have traveled to the east know, replica rolex watches and gucci handbags can be found at very low prices on every street corner. Only an expert can tell the difference between the original and the replica. I strongly suspect that this is the underlying framework for the drop in the oil price. There is no shortage of oil. China is one of the biggest buyers of oil. In all trade they will always negotiate more for less, they have the population to support this. The same goes for India. I do not think we will see such a thing as peakoil ever again. I also think that the oil industries days are numbered, 50 at the most if not less. New technologies will soon replace the need for oil products. So one could say that the low oil price is basically similar to a closing down sale. Everything must go no matter how low the price. By the end of this century we will look back at oil in the same way that we now look back at the steam engine. Countries who rely on oil as a mainstay for the economy need to start developing other industries to replace it. Coupled with 3d printing of anything and everything from apartment blocks to meat products, motor vehicles to tea cups on domestic printers where even a Mona Lisa replica can be created, more for less is the future. silverdoctors/who-is-behind-the-oil-war-and-how-low-will-the-price-of-crude-go-in-2015/
