Who Is Commander-In-Chief In Nigeria? ~ Bucky Hassan A Lagos - TopicsExpress

Who Is Commander-In-Chief In Nigeria? ~ Bucky Hassan A Lagos resident under attack by armed robbers called the police frantic and begging for help. The police asked him how many robbers - told him to go count them. When he told them there were 6 robbers, the response was - Oga,na only me and sarge dey for duty, so make una arrest the robbers, handcuff them and bring them for station! The absurdity of the above statement from a lazy inept policeman is matched by the absurdity and illogical reasoning of those who say the people of the North East have to save themselves from Boko Haram as President GEJ is doing his best! What are Nigerians in the North East meant to do? Fight Boko with sticks and stones? Who is Commander In Chief of the Armed forces of Nigeria? Who is the only one empowered to ensure troops are directed to the right battlefront? Who alone can summon the top Military chiefs to ask them what the blazes is going on in Mubi and other parts of the North East? Who can save the innocent Nigerians - men, women, children - being murdered, butchered, raped, terrorised by these evil terrorists? In their attempts to absolve President GEJ of any blame, his supporters unfortunately make him look small and incompetent. Is he President of Nigeria or not? Does his job entail keeping Nigeria safe? If like his supporters insist, there is nothing more he can do, then maybe he should vacate Aso Rock, and leave the billions of Naira we pay him every year to do his job. The job of Nigerian President comes with amazing perks: A Presidential fleet made up of 9 -11 presidential jets, the best medical treatment anywhere in the world, billions budgeted to feed he and his family, an unlimited clothing budget, holidays in any exotic location, a crack team of Israeli bodyguards to ensure his safety, 24-7 electricity, the finest of everything he desires etc etc etc. All this is funded by Nigerias commonwealth, and the most important thing Nigerian people ask for in return, is for the President to do the job of keeping the country safe. Fighting terrorists is not easy but tackling it in a half-hearted way makea it harder. GEJ is acting like a man more focused on the 2015 elections, than a president who cares that his country is being over-run by a terrorist group, with millions of his citizens displaced or dead. President GEJ, please do the job you were elected to do. Keep Nigeria safe and secure. ~ Bucky 2014
