Who Is The Lord Your God? He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” - Lk 10:27 You need to know who you love to worship, for Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. (John 4:22 NKJV) Many are lovingly worshiping the God they know nothing about. They are worshiping the God men painted for them without asking questions. You should know what you worship and not blindly following the tradition handed down to you that makes Gods word of non effect upon your life. • When you know the Lord your God then you will love Him with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself; that you may be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. (Matt 5:48) > The preacher said, Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”: (Ecclesiastes 12:1 NKJV) • Your Creator alone should be your Lord, not any creature. From the beginning He longs to be with you, watching you display His glory on earth; Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. (Genesis 2:19 NKJV) > Although man lost that glory through disobedient to Gods word, God never give up on man. He decided to redeem man through the Jews the seed of Abraham; I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:2-3 NKJV) • To Abraham Gods name was God Almighty, and to His generation Gods name Jehovah, which means Lord; I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name LORD I was not known to them. (Exodus 6:3 NKJV) > But to us who are redeemed to God by Jesus blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, Gods name is Jesus; ...and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21) • Is Jesus of Nazareth the Lord our God? I am not talking about the false Jesus the religion of Christianity made its images/pictures. I am talking about the Jesus Christ of Nazareth Who is with us to the end of the age - Matt 28:18-20. > Yes! He is the Lord our God: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men...And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1-4, 14 NKJV) #KnowThis: God the Son by the power of God the Holy Ghost became the only begotten of God the Father, full of grace and truth to beget us; For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, (Hebrews 2:10-11 NKJV) > Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:5-11 NKJV) • Jesus was God making Himself man to redeem man. He took our form to form us into Gods original plan for us; For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. (Romans 8:29-30 NKJV) > In Jesus the GodHead and Manhead is completed One; For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. (Colossians 2:9-10 NKJV) • Manhead is created in the image of God; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:27-28 NKJV) > GodHead is God the Father, and God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost; and their name is called Jesus to save His people from their sin. Manhead is man the male and man the female; This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise. (Isaiah 43:21 NKJV) • So what must you do to inherit eternal life? Do what is written in the law pointing you to JESUS - Jn 5:39-40; You shall love the LORD [JESUS] your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, And your neighbor as yourself; do this and you will live (Lk 10:25-28). For Moses[the Law] truly said to the fathers, ‘The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet[Jesus] like me[deliverer] from your brethren. Him you shall hear[Matt 17:5] in all things, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every soul[mankind] who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed[Jn 3:18] from among the people [of God].’ (Acts 3:22-23 NKJV) > No wonder Jesus says, “If you love Me, keep My commandments...For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (John 5:22-24; 14:15 NKJV) • Which Jesus are you calling upon; Jesus of Nazareth or the christian religion Jesus? Compare the Jesus of Nazareth recorded in the scriptures with the Jesus many churches are preaching today to see the difference. Until the Jesus Christ of Nazareth is preached, theres will be no resurrection power; let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus...And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. (Acts 4:10-13, 33 NKJV) • Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Lord your God, He is not the christmas Jesus nor a religious founder; Jesus Christ came to save us, Who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen! (Rom 9:5) + May you call upon Him in truth and be saved; The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Amen! (Romans 10:8-13) Do You Love The Real Jesus And Keeps His Commandments?
