Who Remember (lol)... ...Ivy League clothing in Hampton Roads schools? When our Navy family moved out here from San Diego in 1963, we kids were thrust into a VB school culture that was obsessed with Weejuns® loafers & Gant® shirts for the guys, Villager® skirts/blouses & Aigner® accessories for the girls. It was absolutely weird to us, having moved here from a place where nobody cared what anyone else was wearing. Up until about 1969-70, if you didnt dress right in VB schools, you were regarded as a no-account POS by the cool kids. Yeah, still ranting about that BS!
