Who allows satan to have power over you? Who gives satan - TopicsExpress

Who allows satan to have power over you? Who gives satan permission to do what he does? Why is satan allowed to have power over you if you dont put on Christ? God loves us and wants to bless us. He shows us the truth and we have a choice to make. Believe in your heart and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord now. or dont believe and dont confess. If Christ is not your Lord moment by moment Satan will have his way with you. Read the whole story about Job and think about every Word that is said and you will know why satan had his way with Job, until Job repented(chapter 42). Before Job repented he had only heard about God. Just like church building people that go back week after week they have only heard about God . If you are following a man that does not know God or seen God. You are probably listening to gossip. Gossip will not stop satan. Gods Word out of your mouth stops satan. John 3:16-36 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. John testifies again about Jesus 22 After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the Judean countryside, where he spent some time with them, and baptised. 23 Now John also was baptising at Aenon near Salim, because there was plenty of water, and people were coming and being baptised. 24 (This was before John was put in prison.) 25 An argument developed between some of John’s disciples and a certain Jew over the matter of ceremonial washing. 26 They came to John and said to him, ‘Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan – the one you testified about – look, he is baptising, and everyone is going to him.’ 27 To this John replied, ‘A person can receive only what is given them from heaven. 28 You yourselves can testify that I said, “I am not the Messiah but am sent ahead of him.” 29 The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. 30 He must become greater; I must become less.’[a] 31 The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. 32 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. 33 Whoever has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. 34 For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God[b] gives the Spirit without limit. 35 The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. We find God by searching for God with all our heart soul strength and mind. If you dont find God yourself you cant really tell others about God. All you can do is tell them what someone else has taught you. The power comes on us when we receive the Holy Spirit. That is when you find God because now God lives in you by His Spirit. John 14:15-23 Jesus promises the Holy Spirit 15 ‘If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you for ever – 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me any more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realise that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.’ 22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, ‘But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?’ 23 Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. See what verse 20 Jesus says on that day you will realize that i am in the father you are in me and i am in you. verse Jesus says he and the father will make there home with you. pay attention to how many times you see love in the verses above. You wont find God by going to church on Sunday because God does not live in buildings build by men. God lives inside of you. Luke 17:20-21 20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you Acts 17:24-28 24 ‘The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 “For in him we live and move and have our being.”[a] As some of your own poets have said, “We are his offspring.”[b When we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth. We are saying we believe Gods ways our higher than our ways and His thoughts our higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-11King James Version (KJV) 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The problem with the church building people is they dont really see Gods Word(God) as alive today. The are waiting on a second coming so they dont need to change their thoughts or their ways. Most Church people believe they are saved because they are better than people outside the church building. That is a lie from satan. I will say this again and back it up with Scripture. The second coming happens when you are saved. I dont really care if people like that or not it is just the truth. Does not matter if most of the church building world is following the lie or not. The truth is still the truth. If you have followed the lie your whole life it is because you did not really love God with all your heart soul strength and mind. God tells us if you dont love the truth. He will give you a delusion to believe the lie and that is what he does. Does not matter how long you follow the lie it will never become the truth. You have to turn and follow Christ daily and you will see the truth. That is why a real preacher preaches daily. You cant make disciples of men if you dont have time to feed them the Word of God daily. Hebrews 9:28King James Version (KJV) 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he APPEAR the second time without sin unto salvation. John 14:15-19King James Version (KJV) 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. When your eyes our open to the truth you will understand why the same ones persecute you as persecuted Christ. Church leaders will hate you. They dont like seeing the truth, they lived their whole life a lie. Any preacher telling you that you physically die and than go to heaven or hell is living a lie and preaching a lie. Heaven and hell are both today. You make the choice which you live in. John 3:36King James Version (KJV) 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. The more you have heard about God without believing. The more blows you get beat with, when God sends someone to speak His Word through them. Revelation 2:26-29King James Version (KJV) 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Who is it that overcomes and rules the World. Why would the one that overcomes rule the nations. 1 John 5:1-5King James Version (KJV) 5 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? The reason the one that overcomes rules the nations because God is still alive today and his Word is still a double edged sword. His Word still penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joint and marrow, it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creations hidden from Gods sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13New International Version (NIV) 12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. LIsten to what happens when someone receives the Spirit(born again, saved, baptized in the holy Spirit, God lives in them, born of the Word, are one with Christ)The Word of God flows from within them like a river. If the Word is flowing from you like a river and the Word of God is alive today and still judges. What are you doing after you receive the Spirit. John 7:38-39New International Version (NIV) 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”[a] 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. If you make Jesus your Lord he rules through you. If you pretend to make Jesus your Lord satan will rule you and others around you. When you have received the Spirit. The verses below make sense. If you have not received the Holy Spirit the verses are hard to understand. verse 15 says the person with the Spirit makes judgements about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgements. verse 16 says the person with the Spirit has the mind of Christ. That is simple if we use common sense. If is your Lord. He is the Lord of your mind. If you have the mind of Christ you make judgements about all things. Your judgement is discerned by the Spirit, because the Spirit is within you. 1 Corinthians 2:12-16New International Version (NIV) 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[a] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?”[b] But we have the mind of Christ. God is not dead God is alive today. Dont read Gods word like it is for after you physically die. If wont do you any good. 2 Corinthians 6:1-2New International Version (NIV) 6 As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 2 For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.”[a] I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. NOW IS THE TIME 2 Corinthians 1:16-21New International Version (NIV) 16 I wanted to visit you on my way to Macedonia and to come back to you from Macedonia, and then to have you send me on my way to Judea. 17 Was I fickle when I intended to do this? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so that in the same breath I say both “Yes, yes” and “No, no”? 18 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not “Yes” and “No.” 19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silas[a] and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.” 20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, Psalm 37:4New International Version (NIV) 4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. James 1:18-25New International Version (NIV) 18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. Listening and Doing 19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. 22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do looking in the mirror and walking away and forgetting you look like is like looking at the Word of God walking away and not doing anything you hear God say. Psalm 1:1-3New International Version (NIV) BOOK I Psalms 1–41 Psalm 1 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. God wants to bless you today. Heaven is today The kingdom of God is today.
