Who cares? To care is to actively work on behalf of someone - Larry Allen Who cares? Who is actually working actively on behalf of someone? Do you care for your life? Do you care for your family? Do you care about missionaries? Do you care about Jesus? Caring has very little to do with feelings, however it brings about some of the most beautiful feelings a person can have. In spite of all the words one may use to convey how much he or she cares, caring is better understood when done! Inspiring words, thoughts, and feelings can move us in the direction of caring, and we need them. But, caring will not come into existence unless it is active! To some it can be translated in practical acts of service, to others time together. Many need not say a word, a few perhaps need to say a couple of them (forgive me, perhaps?) and attach actions and attitudes to them. Caring brings with it a world of possibilities, but it can only be done one way: acting. Jesus cares. Do you know what he is doing right now? Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25) The Lord is interceding, he is praying for you. He knows you, he is actively working before the Father on your behalf. And there is more: My Fathers house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? (John 14:2) Yes, he is preparing a place for us. Read the next verse, and you will get a grasp of the love God has for you, and how much he cares daily! No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. (John 6:44) He is drawing, fighting off our rebellion, busyness, stubbornness, forgetfulness, and drawing, bringing closer, calling to his caring arms of love.
