Who do you pray to when you close your eyes? How do you pray? What do you see when you pray? Do you pray into the darkness, or do you look into the eyes of God? Do you pray from your heart or from your mind? When you pray, try reaching up and out and touching the feet of God, feel His fingers toughing yours, let your heart touch God when you speak. Too often people pray yet they aren’t really praying they are just saying the words. Bring Jesus into your heart see Him feel Him, know that He is there. Allow His love to engulf your soul, know without any doubt that the words you have spoken went directly to Jesus and that He is capable of hearing and answering your prayers. The main thing to do when praying to Jesus is see Him, look into His heart, you are praying to the Love of God so pray with the love God has given you, the words are not important, it is the love God wants to feel, He already knows your hearts desires. In heaven, Jesus is wearing a bright white robe that glows and brings light to all living things, above His thrown is a Beautiful rainbow, and His love is made manifest through the very essence of that soft glowing light. Some people may see Him on the cross; others may see Him kneeling in a beautiful garden. Some may see Jesus walking down a lonely lane surrounded by tall elm trees with golden leaves holding the hand of a small child. When you close your eyes envision Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Where is He? What is He doing? Where is He when you pray? When you pray look for Him, envision Him, talk directly to Him and He will hear you. We are told not to pray to a tree, or a rock or even another man, we are told to speak directly to God through His son Jesus Christ’s name. You don’t need to go to a Church or hold a cross; the Bible says that anywhere we kneel before God and pray, is a Holy place. Some will understand this and some will not, and that is ok, just pray.
