Who else is TIRED of this gun-grabber BS?!?!?! **raises hand high** Look to whats going on in CT right NOW for clues as to whats coming... Better still, look to what happened in Germany around the late 1930s!! After that, consider these two avenues of how life will become IF we allow this BS to continue on this course of demonizing guns rather than the criminals who use them to commit their crimes..... -- On the side of how normal life will be, crime rates will go up due to the combination of criminals still having guns and larger/ people preying on the weak (in which other things/tools will be used in crimes)... -- On the other side, the reason why the second amendment of the Constitution exists, imagine a US under dictatorship in which the police and military are the only people able to legally carry guns... If any of you thought the police were bad now, think of how they could get after being given ALL of the power over who gets their defensive help or gets to be mistreated... Just remember that the police are actually NOT under any real obligation to protect anyone but themselves and their friends/families.... Guns are JUST TOOLS!! They are purely mechanical, lacking any ability to move on their own, or even to think about doing or not doing anything. They HAVE to be picked up and handled by a living creature, such as people, in order for them to do anything. It is then up to that user/handler to use it in a safe/right/protective way rather than to use it in a threatening/criminal way. Guns are just easier to use in a matter of self-protection than clubs, knives, saws, hammers, broomsticks, chairs, rocks, ..... and so on........ The point is (and Ive said this over and over again) that guns are only as good or bad as the people who are using them. There are OVER 80 MILLION legally checked-out gun owners in the US today, yet theres a plan being slowly pushed forth to penalize ALL of them due to less than 15,000 murders committed by guns (for each year before 2014) and a total of less than 50,000 deaths by guns (which includes all of those accidents caused by unsafe use, improper training, or leaving guns out for their untrained kids to find and play with)... And, the strange part?? They are pushing this based on the emotional side, rather than the logic Im talking about now, that assault weapon murders (accounting for less than just 500 of ALL gun deaths) are such a HUGE problem.... Lets see, 500 divided by 80,000,000 = 0.00000625 ... or 0.000625% Thats LOWER than the chances it would be for just ONE person to be zapped by lighting 10 times, from the same storm, while also camped out in his/her basement!! It would be MORE likely for a volcano to suddenly sprout up under someones feet while standing on a 2-mile thick glacier during a category 5 tropical hurricane!!! HELLO, people!! THIS stupidity has GOT TO STOP!!! DO NOT allow our government to push us over like they want... Theyre ONLY looking out for THEIR OWN interests, just as what can be seen through 90% or more of their other activities!! If youre one of those people who dont like guns and wish they would all go away... FINE! Dont buy one!! But, also dont push your fears/ideas onto everyone else! Thats actually a violation of the first amendment in being able to believe/think whatever YOU want to believe/think...... But, thats OK... Im sure if you live long enough, someone with a gun will eventually use it to protect YOUR sorry wazu from a criminal eventually, and Im not counting cops or military..........
