Who is a gospel singer? You know how secular singers introduce - TopicsExpress

Who is a gospel singer? You know how secular singers introduce themselves at the beginning of their songs. Im dbanj! lord of ajasa! May back music. Convict music. Now, think of hearing Im dbanj! at the beginning of Panam Percy Pauls song. Think of hearing Akon saying convict music in an opening track by Don Moen. Unthinkable? But I heard lord of ajasa at the beginning of a track by Olufunmi, the fine gospel singer that gave us Ijoba orun, a song we sing after listening to a sound message on heaven. She did a duet with lord of ajasa, a popular Yoruba secular hip hop artiste. I heard that song today with her other gospel tracks. Is this a good example? What a precedence for on coming gospel singers that believe in and respect her? Should gospel singers then feel free to sing with our secular artistes who sing about ladies, their bodies, and blings?
