Who is thinking of entering a team in the ANZAC Ultra next year ? We are looking for teams of 5 to enter one of two events that are being held in a relay type format. Everyone could stay during the week and help each other out or if someone needs to work they could do their leg , disappear and then come back to do their second leg. With five members in each team and eighteen legs you do the sums. Enter now and be part of the original iconic event commemorating the ANZAC Centenary. Enter by 5pm on the 31st Oct and go in the running to win your entry refunded in full. Enter now and answer the Call to put on your shoes and head to the iconic Canberra Centenary Trail 6th to 12th April 2015. 4. “The Sphinx” 435km relay Teams of 5 members - Three loops of the Canberra Centenary Trail. Starting on the 6th April 2015 at 8:00 am at Stromlo Forest Park. There are three cut-off points: The first is to have completed one loop (145km) by 8:00am on the 8th April, The second is to have completed two loops (290km) by 8:00am on the 10th April and The third is to have completed 345km (AWM checkpoint) by 6pm on the 11th April 2015. Teams will decide their own running strategy to suit themselves. The only proviso is that each runner must run at least two legs during the race and changeovers must be done at one of the main checkpoints. On average each leg is around 25 -30 km. The race will conclude at 8:00am on the 12th April 2015. 5. “Simpson and the Donkey” 435km Service Relay Teams of 5 Service (RAAF, Navy, Army, Police, Fire or Ambulance) members - Three loops of the Canberra Centenary Trail.
