Who remembers I-465 as it was being built? I was a young kid growing up near North 91st and Meridian (actually Central Avenue). Above 96th Street my street was just a gravel/dirt road thru an area full of tall weeds, bushes and some trees. One day they started plowing some strip of land parallel to 96th a few block above it. We would actually drag our stingray Schwinn bikes up thru the field so we could ride on that newly flattened dirt which soon became pavement. This site that I found doesnt even seem to go back to those days. I dont know why. It isnt THAT old but all this site wants to do is talk about rebuilding certain sections of I-465.
