Who remembers Thamsanqa Jantjie? Let me refresh your memory, Jantjie is the bogus sign language interpreter to make his debut at Nelson Mandelas funeral of all places. Well clearly not trying to disappoint, Jantjie has resurfaced, and this time, he is in a new commercial for a video-sharing app, where he mocks his previous signing debacle. Face2Face Africa reports: Introducing himself at the start of the commercial, Jantjie says, Hi, Im Thamsanqa Jantjie from Nelson Mandelas funeral, mocking his unintelligible signing for the video-sharing app company. In the next clip, Jantjie is shown standing beside himself, with one image on the left showing him talking, and his other image on the right, signing like he did when he stood beside dignitaries, such as U.S. President Barack Obama. Meanwhile, a voice over interprets Jantjies signing, saying, I speak sign language...NOT. The deaf community is reportedly livid that Jantjie, who offended them with his antics last time, would be chosen to mock sign language yet again.
