Who remembers when Old Style and Schlitz were sold in glass bottles by ballpark vendors at Wrigley Field in the 1970s? I seem to recall the price back then for I think was a 12 oz bottle...at 65 cents for either beer? The ballpark didnt have refrigerated units like they do now, meaning that the vendors had to pile a ton of ice on the case...adding significantly to the weight. {I am calling on Lloyd Rutzky who would know more about this to help?}
