Who the hell do these insurance companies think they are? How can they continue to deny patients their right to choose to prevail for a better outcome of an existing bad situation. To deny them the best surgeon or the best prosthetist or the best oncologist......They force their members to accept a mediocre outcome as apposed to a great outcome. Who gave the insurance companies so much autonomy to decide how a member may live the rest of their life with a deficiency? Their CEOs receive - because they do not earn - multi-million dollar bonuses for having the power to deny their members the right to choose the best possible treatment and yet their income potential allows them to choose.....When are the members going to take their right to choose seriously and report every denial to their insurance commissioner because after hundreds or thousands of reports, someone has to take notice! I think a new bill needs to get passed, and unlike ObamaCare, this bill needs to look after the members right to choose.......and not let the insurance companies choose for them.
