Who wants to go on a 2.5-3 hour hike around the top of Mount Tam (the biggest mountain in the area, west of Corte Madera), including to this spot? We will drive to the Pantoll Ranger Station, park and then climb. Total we will climb up to 800-1000 meters and back down covering 4-5 miles and finish at sunset. We will leave the hotel promptly at 5:30 for the 20 minute drive. We will climb to this spot and even a bit higher and look down on the entire SF Bay Area. I made this video there last week. You will need to buy a 32 ounce bottle of water and layer clothes because it could be warm and sunny or cold and blowy. Who is in? I can drive up to 3 plus myself. Who else can drive if more want to go? Mt. Tam is one of the most beautiful spots in the entire Bay Area.
