Who would have thought that a year on i am nearly ready to open my independent counseling practice, several weeks ago in college i shared that i was not ready to open my own independent practice as i thought that in Birmingham there are loads of counselors. My then goals was to apply to be the a senior counselor within an already established agency. However after several meeting with individuals and organisations i feel that the opportunity has presented itself and it is in my best interest to look at opening my own office space, scary i know. I will spend the next few weeks looking at potential premises. I am a little nervous and A LOT excited. Yesterdays preparation equals todays opportunities #DouglasTherapy
