Whoa...I mailed graduation announcements late yesterday and I hear some have already arrived! I want to be clear that I am VERY PROUD of Michaela and have sent these to many friends (her and ours), family, and people who have been a part of her life or watched her grow up. We are sharing them as a keepsake, not as a gift request. If I had more I would send more. My heart is filled with pride. She has worked EXTREMELY hard throughout high school to achieve high grades, while working in a job that had her going to the studio directly from school 3 days a week and getting home between 8:30-9pm. She attended her Wednesday church program as often as she could even though it was the only day she had to catch up. She participated in Junior Guild, Key Club, National Honors Society, Griffin Ballet Theatre, Beta Club and occasionally Young Life in addition to the rigorous schedule. I cannot tell you how often her alarm went off way before mine so she could do schoolwork after a couple hours of sleep. She danced nearly every Saturday and many Sundays with Griffin Ballet Theatre. Sacrificed many good times for the love of dance. She requested to go on a mission trip to Ecuador for her senior trip AND offered to pay for it out of her hard earned savings. When you see her announcement, please see in it our happiness and pray for her continued success as she continues to make decisions for her future. I know we are all proud of our children and our seniors. I applaud them all! And I f you made it this far down...thanks for hanging on! ;)
