Whoever said government involvement in health care is a great thing, learn from me!! I am in the hospital right now (a private not state funded hospital), I have private insurance, I am being seen by a specialist. I had a visit today from a federal agency that had already reviewed my medical files, knew my medical history, and questioned me on my choices of medical treatment because of the extreme nature and measures being taken. I was LIED to and deceived by these people who claimed to work for hospital (they have privileges here but are not employees) and claimed to have been contacted by my doctor and asked to come in as a consultant (when I threatened to leave AMA my doctor called and told me they were lying to me). When you are in the hospital and in certain medications, your information is sent to CDC, infectious disease office (even if that is not why you are in hospital, like me), and your medical files are released, as part of Obamacare compliance by hospital. I was questioned about smoking, drinking, drug use, and numerous other absurd and very personal questions before I came to my senses and told this woman (very loudly I may add) to get the F.... Out of my room and what she could do with my medical records and her privileges! My doctor and I had a long conversation tonight and I will never step foot in this facility again!!! Satan and liars live at this hospital!! This facility makes me ashamed and disgusted with my Catholic Faith! I am not even close to finished with this!!
