Whos got Bambi? Hes been stolen from stables in New York. We are appealing for information after a horse was stolen in North Shields. Between 8.30pm Saturday, May 3, and 4pm Sunday, May 4, thieves stole a nine-month-old colt, named Bambi, from a stables on Murton Lane in New York. The male horse is chestnut in colour, eleven hands high and has a white blaze. It has white coloured socks and a blonde tail. They also took a purple sports grooming kit and a royal blue Disney Bambi bridal and reins in the break-in. Enquiries are ongoing into the theft and police are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the Murton Lane area on Saturday evening or Sunday morning to contact them.
