Whos ready to tap into a keg and tap out cancer? How many people survive pancreatic cancer? Overall, pancreatic cancer has a poor prognosis. By the time someone has symptoms, goes to their doctor and is diagnosed, the disease is very often quite advanced. Sadly, survival rates have only increased slightly since the 1970s - often because the disease is diagnosed late. Younger pancreatic cancer patients have better survival rates than older patients.
