Whose Son Is He? MATTHEW 22:41-46 = While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, [The Son] of David. 43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, 44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? 45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? 46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any [man] from that day forth ask him any more [questions]. ISAIAH 9:6 = For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ISAIAH 7:14 = Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. MATTHEW 1:18-23 = Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just [man], and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. LUKE 1:35 = And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. HEBREWS 5:7-10 = Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; 10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. ISAIAH 53:1-12 = Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. GALATIANS 4:4 = But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Jesus Was The Only Begotten Son JOHN 1:14 = And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. JOHN 1:18 = No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him]. JOHN 3:16 = For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. JOHN 3:18 = He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ACTS 13:33 = God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. HEBREWS 1:5 = For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? Jesus Christ is the only son that came directly from God, Marry was overshadowed by the Holy Ghost and came by birth into the world, Adam on the other hand was formed from the dust of the earth and God breathed into his nostrils and he became a living soul. He was not born of a woman. There Are Other Sons But Not Begotten of God but by the relationship of a man and a woman. GENESIS 6:4 = There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown. JOB 1:6 = Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. JOB 2:1 = Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. JOB 38:7 = When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? JOHN 1:12 = But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: ROMANS 8:14 = For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. ROMANS 8:19 = For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. PHILIPPIANS 2:15 = That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; I JOHN 3:1 = Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. GALATIANS 4:6 = And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. I JOHN 3:2 = Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. MATTHEW 4:3 = And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. MATTHEW 27:43 = He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. MARK 3:11 = And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. LUKE 4:41 = And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking [them] suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ. JOHN 1:34 = And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. JOHN 1:49 = Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. I THESSALONIANS 1:10 = And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. HEBREWS 1:2 = Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; I JOHN 1:7 = But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. I JOHN 4:10 = Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins. I JOHN 5:11 = And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. I CORINTHIANS 15:25-28 = For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy [that] shall be destroyed [is] death. :27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
