Whose child are you? How do you know? Ephesians 5:1 "Therefore be imitators of God as dear children". 1 John 3:8-10 "he who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin because he has been born of God. 10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are made manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he that does not love his brother." When Jesus manifested Himself, He revealed by example how it looked to be a child of God. Jesus is the Son of God and through Him we become sons and daughters of God. Jesus was conceived, in Mary, of the Holy Spirit and we must also be born again of the same Holy Spirit. Jesus always did the will of the Father and we must also do the will of the Father. How do we do the will of the Father? By following the example of Jesus in His Word. Jesus is the Word and He is the will of God.
